Hey! So Glad You're Here.

Hi, I'm Adaeze Nwigwe! As the new HERstory intern I hope to learn more about museum work and its public facing facets. Additionally, I am excited to expand upon my experience with oral histories. Getting acquainted with artifacts as well as collections will also be a large part of my duties this fall. Thus, this internship will give me a very multi-faceted experience that I can utilize towards my future aims. It is my ultimate goal to work as a public historian who can offer professional context to both institutional initiatives and community-based projects. I believe the History Center's HERstory internship will provide an important first step towards these goals as I work to uplift the voices of diverse women.
